Frequently Asked Questions
What is a health and wellness coach?
A health and wellness coach partners with you to set and achieve goals for your health, well-being, and lifestyle. Instead of telling you what to do, I help you discover what works best for you and provide support, accountability, and encouragement along the way.
How is coaching different from therapy or personal training?
Therapy often focuses on healing from the past, while coaching focuses on moving forward and creating lasting lifestyle changes. Personal training typically emphasizes exercise, while coaching looks at the whole picture including stress, sleep, nutrition, movement, and mindset.
What does it mean to be National Board-Certified (NBC-HWC)?
NBC-HWC is the highest credential in health coaching. It means I’ve met rigorous standards in training, experience, and ethics, and passed a national board exam. You can trust that I use evidence-based practices to support your goals.
Who do you work with?
I work with teenagers and adults who want to reduce stress, improve energy, build healthier habits, and feel more balanced in their daily lives. Many of my clients are students, busy professionals, caregivers, retirees or people navigating life transitions who want practical, sustainable support.
What happens in a coaching session?
In each session, we focus on what matters most to you. Together, we set small, realistic steps that build toward your bigger goals. Sessions are a mix of conversation, reflection, and planning and are tailored to your unique needs.
Do you offer virtual coaching?
Yes! I meet with clients virtually via secure video calls, so you can join from anywhere.
How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?
Sessions are typically 45 minutes. Most clients meet with me every two weeks, but we’ll find a rhythm that works best for you.
How much does coaching cost?
